A series of participatory art installation is assembled by toilet and stairs, which creates a scenario that people need to carry their own flush water to the top. This conceptual public toilet allows people to experience the existence of water by carrying the weight of water.
This concept aims to enhance people's awareness of the environment. I name it “Nature Awareness.” I am interested in the concept of synaesthesia to impart environmental information by enhancing or adding senses. In the initial proposal, I tried to enhance the senses of the participant. Through this immersive system, people can feel the lightness and gravity of natural resources. For example, in the "Toilet Mountain", a series of participatory art installation are designed by daily life situation, so that people can be immersed in the space and use their body to carry out their memory and the quality and quantity of domestic water.
